Confined Space Awareness

A staggering number of workers are killed or seriously injured every year in confined spaces. This is sometimes due to lack of knowledge or training with associated risks in working within a confined space. This course is intended for people who require an awareness of the risks, hazards and equipment associated with confined spaces.

  • Different types of full working Breathing Apparatus and ancillary equipment.
  • Safe systems of work for entry into confined spaces.
  • Methods of communication.
  • Manning levels.
  • Emergency procedures
